Wait 20 Minutes

Here I am again, 3 weeks later, worse for wear.
Having done nothing to combat my emotional eating.
Having done nothing to work on my fitness.
Having done nothing to think about healthy healing.

Read an article that talked about Mindful Eating. There were 6 things but the main things I took from it were these:

1. Have a glass of water.
2. Wait 20 minutes.
3. Log your thoughts/feelings in a food journal.

By the time you do those things, you will not eat. (And probably work toward inner peace that will continue to break the habits.)

Instead of making this COMPLETELY about the things I am not doing (and beating myself up,) let's talk about what I have done:

- I went to the gym this morning and plan to get a good night's sleep and hit it hard tomorrow morning as well.

- I AM going to walk every morning this weekend. Even if only for 30 minutes.
