Inspiration!

A quick shout out to my bestie, Andrea, that completed round 1 of boot camp! Her amazing example is helping me start to get my ish together.

Also, EVERYTHING has been a struggle for me lately. So I'm altering my application of "better living through science" and actually working out for peace of mind (and health, of course) but mostly to keep my head on straight. I was doing so well. Minus 2 months, I've worked out regularly for a year.

My plan this week: schedule a work out for each day.
Monday - After Lecture #1
Tuesday - Walk, 1st thing
Wednesday - After Lecture #1
Thursday - Before work
Friday - On the way home from work (I found an awesome LA Fitness this morning.)

This should be my schedule for the rest of this semester.

Also, I have to give a product endorsement to Panera bread. I went in for breakfast and REALLY wanted the Asiago Bagel breakfast sandwich. However, they list the calories next to each of their sandwiches and the breakfast power-sandwich right under it was almost HALF the calories and an ample amount of food. Had those calories not been listed right in front of my face, I would've gone with the worse option. Which is what I have been doing. That's the next step. I need to work out to keep sane. And will start making better choices. Then, I'll tackle a more aggressive food approach.

However, I had a doctor's appointment today (routine) and can at least say that I have only gained back 5 of the 11 pounds I lost earlier this year. (I thought it would be worse. THAT'S NO REASON TO EAT POORLY!)

So...as Annie Wants Her Body Back, Jen Wants Her Mind Back (Then her body.)

Love you Andrea! So proud of you! xoxo
